They replace the function of damaged sensory hair cells inside the inner ear to help provide clearer sound than what hearing aids can provide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"ov-green-emp\">They are designed to help you get back the sounds you&#8217;ve been missing by giving you the clarity you need to hear better and understand speech, even in noisy situations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A cochlear implant system, like the industry-leading Cochlear\u2122\nNucleus\u00ae System, has two parts:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>The external sound processor<\/li><li>The implant that is surgically placed under the\nskin and attached to an electrode array that is placed in the inner ear.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Together, these parts bypass the part of the ear that isn\u2019t\nworking, sending sound straight to the hearing nerve.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<section class=\"home-contact-section\">\n\t<div class=\"home-contact-left\">\n\t\tSend us a message to get started.
